Emi Koussi, the roof of the Sahara.
I have climbed several times with camels this immense volcano, the highest peak of the Sahara, to which, for my own saharan history, I’m deeply tied.
Passing from the sky through the “tarsos”, “lava giant fields”in toubou language, that form the slopes of the peak, reveals even more the immensity and the vastness of these spaces.
