Nestled in Zakouma National Park, Camp Nomade is a seasonal mobile camp offering exclusive luxury services. Accessible only to Accredited International Guides, the camp provides a unique experience, immersing guests in the wild Chadian nature. Designed in a comfortable bohemian style, the camp features light tents that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding wildlife.

Operating from late December to mid-April, Camp Nomade is modeled after traditional nomadic camps of the Sahel, using vibrant local fabrics and metals. The large communal tent, adorned with carpets and cushions, provides a space to relax, watch passing animals, or enjoy the fiery sunsets.

Camp Nomade hosts a maximum of eight guests at a time, ensuring a private and personalized experience. Each spacious tent is equipped with a 360-degree view from the comfort of your bed, protected by mosquito nets. The private bathrooms are made from natural materials and include bucket showers with hot water.

Accompanied by expert guides and local rangers, guests can partake in daily vehicle safaris, explore the wilderness on foot, or enjoy mobile camps along the banks of the Salamat River. Birdwatching enthusiasts will marvel at the variety of species, and if conditions permit, canoe excursions and night safaris are also available. After a day full of adventures, the camp’s comfort provides the perfect setting for relaxation.
